This summer, a lot of things happened, like my sister's wedding. But the thing that I enjoyed the most was camping. I went to Broken Bow lake with my family. It was my second time camping but my moms first. I enjoyed it so much. We got lucky and found a campsite right on the river! We had a nice breeze throughout the day and delicious steaks at night. I absolutely love the feeling of being out on the river, or close to any body of water, actually. It's really peaceful. My mom went camping for the first time, and she was really scared at first. But then the second she saw that view, she fell in love. Now my dad is planning to go every other weekend with her.
I can't wait to go again in the fall and have a nice campfire. Camping is awesome. Period.
